Lynn W. Burry
An
avid catch and release fly fisherman, fly designer and tier, Lynn has spent
over 56 years pursuing Trout, Salmon, Steelhead and Smallmouth Bass. Lynn
specializes in designing and tying streamers and nymphs for these fish. He
prefers wading the streams but also wades the lake flats in early spring and
late fall. During his 13 years in the US Navy, Lynn had the opportunity to
fish the Trout and Atlantic Salmon streams of Iceland, the coastal streams
of Washington State for Pacific Salmon and Steelhead and numerous other
exotic locations around the world. He calls the Pigeon River in northeastern
Indiana his “Home Water.”

including its President from 1997 through 2004. NEITA is a leader in the
fight to continually improve Trout fishing in Indiana through conservation,
education, positive IDNR regulation change and youth fishing events with
special emphasis on the Brown Trout stocking program in the Pigeon River and
the trophy Brown Trout stocking program in Oliver Lake. NEITA partners with
and strongly supports other Indiana organizations with their Trout agenda.
